The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell is pleased to offer scholarships to students attending Florida College from the state of Florida. Recipients are selected based on service, college preparedness, and/or financial need. If selected, recipients will be required to participate in at least one TBCHB event during the schoolyear.
Applicants must reapply each year to be considered for a scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a resident of the state of Florida
- Parents/Guardians must be members of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell
- Must have applied and been accepted to Florida College for the upcoming schoolyear
- Must be regular members of a local church family
- TWO Letters of Reference (as outlined in the application)
- ONE Essay (500-1000 words, as outlined in the application)
** Children of Florida College and Florida College Academy employees may be considered if money is available after other applications have been awarded.

Scholarships
One of the main purposes for our existence as a Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell is to provide scholarships to young people in the Tampa Bay area who desire to attend Florida College.
Thanks to all our Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell members and friends who have worked so hard through the years to help provide scholarships for deserving students. From play cast members, to golf tournament attendees and volunteers, to “Ladies Tea” supporters and volunteers, to monthly bank draft contributors, to Summer skate nights attendees and volunteers … we thank you ALL for making these scholarships possible!
