2025 A Goblins’ Christmas

It is a musical that retells Charles Dickens’ first Christmas fairy tale, “The Story of the Goblins Who Stole a Sexton.” This show rings with unforgettable music and frolics with laughs, tears, surprises, and— above all—love.

The Tampa Bay Chapter’s presentation will be the WORLD PREMIERE of this award-winning play by Florida College alumni Kenny Chumbley (playwright) and Benjamin Payne (composer), with Molly Taylor as the director and is packed with a star-studded cast of past Florida College and Broadway Comes to Camp shows, actors and actresses whom you know and love.  All proceeds from this premiere will go to the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell for student scholarships.

The script has been named “Best Stage Play” by the 2025 Chicago Stage Awards and an “Official Selection” of the 2025 Oxford (UK) Script Awards.
